Lynis 1.6.4 - Security auditing tool for Unix/Linux systems


Lynis is an open source security auditing tool. Primary goal is to help users with auditing and hardening of Unix and Linux based systems. The software is very flexible and runs on almost every Unix based system (including Mac). Even the installation of the software itself is optional!

How it works

Lynis will perform hundreds of individual tests to determine the security state of the system. Many of these tests are also part of common security guidelines and standards. Examples include searching for installed software and determine possible configuration flaws. Lynis goes further and does also test individual software components, checks related configuration files and measures performance. After these tests, a scan report will be displayed with all discovered findings.

FuckShitUp - Multi Vulnerabilities Scanner written in PHP


Basically, FSU is bunch of tools written in PHP-CLI. Using build-in functions, you are able to grab url's using search engines - and so, dork for interesting files and full path disclosures. Using list of url's, scanner will look for Cross Site Scripting, Remote File Inclusion, SQL Injection and Local File Inclusion vulnerabilities. It is able to perform mass bruteforce attacks for specific range of hosts, or bruteforce ssh with specific username taken from FPD. Whenever something interesting will be found, like vulnerability or broken auth credentials, data will be saved in .txt files - just like url's, and any other files. FSU is based on PHP and text files, it's still under construction so i am aware of any potential bugs. Principle of operation is simple.
More url's -> more vuln's. For educational purposes only.

[flunym0us] Vulnerability Scanner for Wordpress and Moodle


Flunym0us is a Vulnerability Scanner for Wordpress and Moodle designed by Flu Project Team.

Flunym0us has been developed in Python. Flunym0us performs dictionary attacks against Web sites. By default, Flunym0us includes a dictionary for Wordpress and other for Moodle.

Operation

Flunym0us requires python.
Arguments allowed:
-h, --help: Show this help message and exit
-wp, --wordpress: Scan WordPress site
-mo, --moodle: Scan Moodle site
-H HOST, --host HOST: Website to be scanned
-w WORDLIST, --wordlist WORDLIST: Path to the wordlist to use

[Wapiti 2.3.0] Web Application Vulnerability Scanner

Wapiti allows you to audit the security of your web applications.

It performs "black-box" scans, i.e. it does not study the source code of the application but will scans the webpages of the deployed webapp, looking for scripts and forms where it can inject data.

Once it gets this list, Wapiti acts like a fuzzer, injecting payloads to see if a script is vulnerable.


Wapiti can detect the following vulnerabilities :
  • File disclosure (Local and remote include/require, fopen, readfile...)
  • Database Injection (PHP/JSP/ASP SQL Injections and XPath Injections)
  • XSS (Cross Site Scripting) injection (reflected and permanent)
  • Command Execution detection (eval(), system(), passtru()...)
  • CRLF Injection (HTTP Response Splitting, session fixation...)
  • XXE (XmleXternal Entity) injection
  • Use of know potentially dangerous files (thanks to the Nikto database)
  • Weak .htaccess configurations that can be bypassed
  • Presence of backup files giving sensitive information (source code disclosure)
Wapiti supports both GET and POST HTTP methods for attacks.
It also supports multipart and can inject payloads in filenames (upload).
Display a warning when an anomaly is found (for example 500 errors and timeouts)
Makes the difference beetween permanent and reflected XSS vulnerabilities.

    Vulscan is a module which enhances nmap to a vulnerability scanner. The nmap option -sV enables version detection per service which is used to determine potential flaws according to the identified product. The data is looked up in an offline version scip VulDB.


    Installation

    Please install the files into the following folder of your Nmap installation:


    Nmap\scripts\vulscan\*


    Usage

    You have to run the following minimal command to initiate a simple vulnerability scan:

    nmap -sV --script=vulscan/vulscan.nse www.example.com
